During all the long parts with just drums and guitar screech noises, the bass player sometimes hits a random note. Its usually open E or A. When the vocals/rhythm guitar come in every now and then, you play one of these two riffs, they change on and off. Riff 1: G|----------||----------||----------| D|----------||----------||----4-----| A|-5--4--2--||-5--4--2--||-5-----2--| E|----------||----------||----------| Riff 2: G---5---5---4---4---- D-------------------- A-3---3---2---2---0~- E-------------------- The live version of this song (the only one i've heard) sounds like it has a distorted bass, and maybe another affect only used in some spots. Sub Bass Correction Notes: I only changed riff 1. it was previously this: G---------- D---------- A-3~-2~-0~- E---------- but it didn't sound right to me when I played along and there was a variation that was played the third time the riff comes in that wasn't mentioned.
