NB - This is the way I worked it out ages ago - I duet it with a friend who plays it in version 3 and they complement each other really well. I'm not sure if it's like they it on the record but it's easier than v3 and it works on its own too. There are a lot of in here which are personal embellishments but they work well to simulate bass guitar when playing on only one guitar. If you don't want to keep them in it's easy enough to out which are essential. Quaver (1/8) beats are underneath chords when no lyrics present. 0-2-2-1-0-0-----------| 4-2-2-1-0-0-----------| F#m11 2-4-4-2-0-0--------------------| X-0-2-2-0-0-----------| Asus2dim5 X-0-1-2-0-0--------------------| notated below as A* A3/E 0-4-2-2-2-0--------------------| this is just A/E, but I've called it A3 for voicing Badd11/E 0-6-4-4-4-0--------------------| notated below as B* 4-6-4-4-4-4-----------| / X-4-2-2-0-0--| X-2-1-2-0-2-----------| X-2-4-4-0-0-----------| / X-2-2-2-0-0--| X-4-2-2-2-0-----------| / X-6-4-4-4-0--| Capo 4, in 6/8 Intro F#m11 * * 6 6 3 3 3 3 F#m11 * / 6 6 3 3 2 2 2 Verse 1 F#m11 F#m11 Tell her not to go.
