Am 1 Tab

by Grandaddy

Song: AM 180
Band: Grandaddy
Tuning: standard
Notes: I've noticed the lack of Grandaddy guitar tabs on the net so I thought i'd give am 180 a bash.
It's also my first tab so don't start harassing me if you think it's crap.

Mad keyboard noises arranged for guitar:

just singing.

play FIG 1 (x4)

play FIG 2 under it (x4)

more singing

play FIG 1 (x2)

play FIG 2 (x2)

the play this twice over FIG 1 only:

then this:

FIG 1 (x4)

FIG 2 (X4)

AND THIS:

/-------/------(this part is played during the last note in FIG 3)
    / /
E--/-------/----------------------------------------------------------|
B-/-------/-----------------------------------------------------------|
G-14-14-10~--/14---14-14-15-17-15-14---14-12-14-14-12--14-----13b(14)-|

E--------------------------------------------------------------------|
B--------------------------------------------------------------------|
G--14---14-14-15-17-15-14---14-12-14-14-12--14-----13b(14)-----------|

E--------------------------------------------------------------------|

hold note for about 2 seconds then quickly slide down and stop.

D--------------------------------------------------------------------|
A--------------------------------------------------------------------|
E--------------------------------------------------------------------|

You'll have to listen pretty hard to make all of this out (but the bends should
be easy to hear so use them as a guide for the rest). If you can't hear
it and don't have a clue, then just play random notes in the 14 fret followed
by the quick bend and it should sound okay.

The singing goes on for a bit.

Just after you hear:

"...and take on whatever together"

Something like this is played.

E--------------------------------------------------------------------|
B-------14/15--------------------------------------------------------|
G---21\-------15/16----17b(18)---------------------------------------|
D--------------------------------------------------------------------|
A-------------------0---------------0--------------------------------|
E--------------------------------------------------------------------|

Then back to

FIG 1 (x6)

and

FIG 2 (x6)

then a little piano bit and that's it!
