			     KELLY JONES - Violet
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tuning: Standard

Before I begin, I'd just like to say that I've just bought this album and, although very
and somewhat empty, it strikes me as being a very beautiful, lyric-orientated album. A
no-one has tabbed this song out, as it is one of my favourite lyrically. And all of the
I have seen for the other songs on this album are spot on. Well done people!

VIOLET

Chords used:

e|-------------------------|
B|--9----5-----------------|
G|--9----6----4----6-------|
D|--9----6----4----7----2--|
A|--7----4----2----7----2--|
E|-----------------5----0--|

Of course, you can play theses notes lower down the fretboard or higher...this is just
I started to play the song. Plus, by playing this way It gives you free-reign to mess
with major-minor switches which you can add into the song if it pleases you.

Verse:

(High)
There's a killer on the loose

More blood on the streets

Violet sells her body

To make money to eat

Well violet's just a girl

And she ran away from home

She fell out with her daddy

Now she's living all alone

Chorus

Violet - Oh Violet

Who Done It - Oh Violet

Verse

At the end of the night

Violet walks the streets

She picks up all the guys

To make her ends meet

Saturday came around

The killer made his make

She got into his car

Now the coppers are dragging the lake

Chorus

Violet - Oh Violet

Who Done It - Oh Violet

Oh Violet - Who Done It

Oh Violet - Oh no

End on: (High)E (downstroke)
