		     "Loser's Samba"
		             (M.Mull)
Verse 1: Em9
Oh wow, how did I get so strung out,

There was a time I was young and hung out

There never was a party that you didn't find Marty,

On Friday night - Saturday night.

But now my stomach measures a mile,

It takes a bottle just to make me smile.

And my friends are saying "Jesus Christ he's such a bore,

He don't take dope or even talk about the war."

I just take a little drink another little drink,

And then I have me just another drink more.

And when I wake up in the morning =

Good God my kidneys are sore,

Cuz the bag I'm in is just a package from my package store.

verse2:
Oh wow, how did I get so messed up?
It seems like yesterday I was young and hung out.
The minute that I woke up I'd go and do some coke up
I was feeling high - what a guy.
And now I watch my color tv,
Let Johnny Carson make a fool of me.
And my friends aint been around in a year or more.
They're off somewhere together making posters for the war.
And so I sit at home and drink another little drink,
and then I have me just a couple "hic" more.
And when I wake up in the morning
Good God some mornings I'm sore,
Cuz the bag I'm in is just a package from the package store.

Verse 3:	Oh wow how did I get so bent out
It seems like yesterday I was young and went out.
Making all my money being high and being funny-
I was on a trip - Like Mister Super Hip.
And now that easy money's all spent,
I got a crummy job just to pay the rent.
And the thing that broke inside me it aint going away.
I got to call the boss and say I won't be in today.
I'm going to sit at home and drink another little drink,
if I drink enough I'll feel Okay.
And once more, I'm gonna wake up in the morning =

	feeling oh oh so sore,
Cuz the bag I'm in is just a package from the package store.
