World Spins Madly On Tab

by The Weepies

ok...this is the improved version:

capo 6th fret

- 320033
/D- 200232
- x32033
- xx0232
- 022033
there are 2 other weird chords--dont know what they're called but i'll label them as:
-020033
-x02033

notes:
heres the thing i don't feel like typing this all out, so on F#/D and D, it goes back
forth from the 2nd to the 3rd fret on the high E string. if you listen to the song its
easy to figure out..
also, sometimes they use Em7 instead of Cadd9 but it can be really hard to tell which
is which...i did my best with trying to figure it out but during the verses both ways
fine.

-F#/D-- x2

                             /
woke up and wished that i was dead

with an achin' in my head

i lay motionless in bed

i thought of you, and where you'd gone

                /
let the world spin madly on

-F#/D-- x1

                              /
and everything that i said i'd do

like make the world brand new

and take the time for you

                                        /
just got lost and slept right through the dawn

                 /
and the world spins madly on

-F#/D--

BRIDGE: (little iffy, but it sounds the closest)

i let the day go by

i always say goodbye

i watch the stars from my windowsill

                          /
the whole world is moving, but i'm standing still.

-F#/D-- x2

                              /
woke up and wished that i was dead

with an aching in my head

i lay motionless in bed

                               /
the night is here and the day is gone

                 /
and the world spins madly on

                              /
i thought of you and where you'd gone

                 /
and the world spins madly on

                 /
and the world spins madly on

                 / / ...
and the world spins madly on and on and on...
