Hi i thought i would post an easier version of this song, so that maybe beginners could this easier, so i worked out the best way to make the chords simpler this is by using a on the first fret. All chords are relative to capo on the first fret. CAPO 1 1st Verse Well sometimes I go out, by myself And I look across the water, And I think of all the things, what you're doing And in my head I make a picture Chorus 1: Cos since I've come on home, Well my body's been a mess And I've missed your ginger hair And the way you like to dress Won't you come on over Stop making a fool out of me... Why won't you come on over Valerie? Valerie? 2nd Verse Did you have to go to jail, Put your house up on for sale, did you get a good lawyer? I hope you didn't catch a tan, I hope you'll find the right man who'll fix it for ya And are you shoppin' anywhere, Changed the colour of you hair, are you busy? And did you have to pay the fine You were dodging all the time, are you still dizzy? Chorus 2: Cos since I've come on home, Well my body's been a mess And I've missed your ginger hair And the way you like to dress Won't you come on over Stop making a fool out of me... Why won't you come on over Valerie? Valerie? Valerie? Valerie? Vocal Section: Well sometimes I go out by myself And I look across the water And I think of all the things, what you're doing And in my head I make a picture (you can play the verse chords for this in a simple single strum pattern) Hope this is all very easy for you, it is good for jamming and playing along.
