Aint No Sunshine Tab

by Bill Withers

Ain't No Sunshine
Bill Withers

-The other tab on here has mostly the right chords, but it's a little hard to decipher.
here is a (hopefully) easier to read version. The whole song really depends on the
chord progression at the end of every line, so focus on that. Play the Am gently during
verse. Oh,and the Dm chord sounds correct, but a barred F works well too and sounds a bit

                                      --
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone.
                                      --
It's not warm when she's away.

Ain't no sunshine when she's gone, and she's always gone too long,
                       --
Anytime she goes away.

                                      --
Wonder this time where she's gone,
                                   --
Wonder if she's gone to stay

Ain't no sunshine when she's gone, and this house just ain't no home,
                       --
Anytime she goes away.

(Am gently, fade it completely, then bring it back gently)
And I know, I know, I know, I know, I know,
I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know,
I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know,
I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know
Hey, I ought to leave the young thing alone,
                                       --
But ain't no sunshine when she's gone,
                           --
   only darkness everyday.

Ain't no sunshine when she's gone, and this house just ain't no home
                       --
Anytime she goes away.
                       --
Anytime she goes away.
                       --
Anytime she goes away.
                       --
Anytime she goes away.
                       --
Anytime she goes away.

THE END

*the Am kinda plays all the time, like after the "Em-G-Am"s just keep strumming the Am
Easy song once you feel the groove of it.
