Without hope there’s nothing left but empty frames
Like a night sky without its burning stars
A kiss that turns into a moment gone to far
Another blank face calms the angry crowd
Lets close this rugged highway
Clear the wreckage left from travellers from a far
Lets lay new ash fault down and burn under the sun
Become an emerald fire and light the way for those to come
Two lover’s names painted on walls of stone
Roadside crosses of loved ones we don’t know
