Really nice song with very emotive lyrics. Note that the G to G# to A to B are only links from the G# and B and are only played due to sliding your Barre chord down the fret. I find this song easier to play using the chords with the root note on the E string rather than switching from barre chords which have thier root note on the E and A string. x 2 A friend of mine grows his very own brambles They twist all around him until he can't move Beautiful quivering shivering shambles What is my friend trying to prove x2 He boosters a tall gentle boy to a terrible totem And the kids gather round trying to see what's inside I think when he's drinking he's drowning some riots What is my friend trying to hide? Cuz it's breaking my heart, it's breaking my heart And it's breaking my heart to pull at the reigns Brother of mine don't run with those fuckers When will my friend start singing again (held on longer) When will my friend start singing again Not so sure about the "oooh" part but i think the chords are just E (barred at the 12th fret) to B. This is played four times. x 3 post any comments/corrections on here as I check often.
