"Listen To The River" (From the "Wake" Album)
by: Emmet Swimming
Tabed by: Eric Wiltshire

Listen and play along with the song in order to get the strumming
patterns because they vary from verse to chorus

Chords: (Intro)
              x2

[verse]

Have you ever seen it flow

And wonder where it goes....as it tumbles

While standing on the shore

There's things you ignore....as it falls apart

Have you ever seen a raven gasping

Dying breath just to go away

Have you ever seen a cloud that's laughing
E G (rythm change) D (verse runs into chorus)
You have to wait for it, it's not to late for it

[chorus1]

There's a sound on the river tonight

Put your head down and you will hear

Voices crying the river's dying
                                        (rythm change)
No on ever....listens to the river

[verse]

The water that surrounds

Forever falling down....as it makes it's way

Trip upon the shore

Keep trying to ignore....all the things you see

Have you ever watched it rain on Sunday

Have you ever tried to stare into the sun

It's burnt on every hill and byway
E G (rythm change) D (verse runs into chorus)
It's not to late for it, you have to pray for it

[chorus2] x2

There's a song on the river tonight

Put your head down and you will hear

Voices crying the river's trying

No one ever

When you come on the river tonight

Put your head down and you will hear

Voices crying the river's dying

No one ever....listens to the river

[bridge to chorus2 repeat]
               x2

[repeat chorus2]

I figured this out in like 5 minutes so it might not be completly
accurate but it's close enough. Good Luck with it!
I'm open for any comments or suggestions.
