"Living Room" (From the "Arlington to Boston" Album)
by: Emmet Swimming

Verse:

Gave up trying, you've been seen lying around

Hoping someone would, tell you where to go

You swing your partner, God's your partner now

And you just dipped him on the floor

Bridge:

If you see me going by

Then you've seen me going by

Chorus 1:

I thought life meant you were living

I thought death meant you were dying

Now I sit around and I stare

How dare call this a living room.........my living room

Verse:

Gave up caring, you've been seen staring out

Did you expect the, paneling to glow

You're looking for a savior, to take things over now

Seems you don't want to try

Bridge:

If you see me going by

Then you've seen me going by

Chorus 2:

I thought life meant you were living

I thought death meant you were dying

Now I sit around and I stare

How dare call this a living room

I thought time would always be there

I thought my life might go somewhere

Now I sit around it's a big dispair

How dare call this a living room

Bridge:
A C# A B (chords for the solo before vocals)
(softer)

If you see me going by
                  (louder)
Then you've seen me going by

Repeat Chorus #2: (Then pick up ending)

Ending:

I'm sending you a post card

Yeah I'm sending you a postcard

I stare in my living room

The only suggestion I have is to play along and listen to the song in order

to get the strumming patterns and to pick up certain dynamics that are
important to the song. The song is easy to learn after listening to it for
 while.
Have fun and enjoy!
