LYRIC SHEET (casually, dreamy-eyed)

Oh, yeah--

I once knew a lass, liked to smoke grass

That perky face and those thighs

I would memorize

And this girl, made my head whirl

That's all there was

                                         Oh, yeah--

She was kinda nuts, but there were no "but"s

I had to have her

It was kinda nice, chilled me like ice

Wakin' up next to her Light in the windowsill, yeah . . .

She was the one, wore her hair in a bun

And worked in the garden, she had a pail, oh yeah . . .

She went shopping for clothes, they were all old

Down at Goodwill

Didn't know that I sang, Didn't know that it rang

Outta key, too -- oh yeah Love it I love it, all--

Just got a pencil, on a paper, and you just

write it, write it on down, Round, round round and round . . .

Didn't like tv, just you and me, baby

She was from the country

She knew a little french, got my monkeywrench

And made some magic Can't find magic

It's all over now Don't even know how, but my baby's

gone. She's gone, she's gone, and that's all right, it's all right because I'm

Sittin' around, I'm not up I'm not down -- Just

gettin' by, gettin' high, driving around and around in the sky yeah

Some say it's crazy, others lazy, but I

know. I know, I know, I know, I know, I know -- you just gotta

Do it all up there again someday, You might get lucky, today I know

She's comin' back

Gunny sack, gunny sack, gunny gunny sack-- And she's

She was the one

Wore her hair in the bun, and I ain't tellin' no more

No, no no no--

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Of the 93.08.26 recording, there's two versions of the intro -- a long,
unedited one and a shorter one without all of the "let's see here -- what
kinda chords we got here" dialogue. The chord pattern is the same for
this intro.

A 1987 Fender Stratocaser (stock pickups, rosewood neck, jumbo frets, Kahler
tremolo, cream colored) was also used, plugged directly into the board (a
Yamaha MT-120 4-track recorder).

A Group Image demo tape (also released under the GPL) can be ordered for
$4 (Canada $5, World $7) cash or money order (US check made out to Michael
Stutz) from Michael Stutz, PO BOX 542, BEREA OH 44017-0542 USA. (This is
