Being alone on Valentine's day doesn't bother me
Normally, I don't exude lugubriosity
But this year I am curious,
What it's like to feel blue
Though it may be spurious,
I've got nothing else to do
And I'm gonna shed tear after tear
Not that I'm a lonely guy,
but Valentine's comes but once a year
I might as well give it a try
So I'll partake in all the weeping whims that I can find

Dress all grim and gruesome
Drive until I'm ill
Watch the happy twosomes,
Whom if I were truly lonely I would probably want to kill
