Tuning: Standard (Eb)

Let me explain the dilemma. This is a wonderful song
originally played in by Mr. Costa in the key of Eb.
This gives the song its easy laid-back quality.
Frankly, tuning every string down a half step is a pain.
The song can be played in E, but I personally found it
to stiffen the mood. Additionally, I can't sing the
high part that way.

Let me explain my solution. You can "cheat" with the
usage of a capo. Using a couple of basic chords, you
can play the song in its original key without tuning down.
I have including both alternatives.

ALTERNATIVE ONE - Capo 8
This is a novice-inclined. Very high on the neck,
but uses the basic "worship song" chords.

Chords listed as relative to the capo.

e|--3--- --3-- --3-- --3--
B|--3--- --3-- --3-- --3--
G|--0--- --2-- --0-- --0--
D|--0--- --0-- --2-- --2--
A|--2--- --0-- --3-- --2--
E|--3--- --X-- --0-- --0--

Sunshine, I'd really like to tell you

Oh my sunshine, even though your skies are blue,

You're drying up my bed, how can I get any rest now.

Sha la la la la la la.

Someday, you will get the best of me.
Oh, someday, probably when I'm old and grey,
I'm lying in my bed. Someday I'll be put to rest.
Sha la la la la la la.

ALTERNATIVE TWO - Capo 3
This is not as harsh on the guitar, but the chords
are a little more involved.

Chords listed as relative to the capo.
*I suspended some of the chords for feel... I think it
makes the song seem brighter or something.

e|--3-- --3-- --3-- --3--
B|--1-- --0-- --1-- --1--
G|--0-- --0-- --2-- --2--
D|--2-- --0-- --3-- --2--
A|--3-- --2-- --X-- --0--
E|--X-- --3-- --X-- --X--

Sunshine, I'd really like to tell you

Oh my sunshine, even though your skies are blue,

You're drying up my bed, how can I get any rest now.

Sha la la la la la la.

Someday, you will get the best of me.
Oh, someday, probably when I'm old and grey,
I'm lying in my bed. Someday I'll be put to rest.
Sha la la la la la la.

And there 'tis. Any feedback is welcomed and appreciated.
Blessings.
Cheers.
