Blue Monday Tab

by Orgy

Song: Blue Monday
Artist: Orgy

Requires 2 guitars;

Rhythem guitar is played on a 7-string with lots of fuzz
Lead guitar is played on a 6-string with a synth unit

Rhythem: Ryan Shuck - tuning A#D#G#C#F#A#D#
Lead: Amir Derekh - Tuning C#G#C#F#A#D#

I've not found any tabs that are precise, I agree that it can be played in other
 my issue
is that no one ever tabbed the song for those who do have 7-string guitars. I am one of
people,
and plan to continue tabbing Orgy tunes for those interested. I will have alot of
with effects
that are used in Amir's synth leads. But otherwise My tabs will be as close as possible
Correct on
Rhythems. This tab particularly due to the many times I've seen it played, and studied
song.
Hope anyone who see's this appreciates it and rates it well. It's alot of work for me,
am new to tabbing.

Intro:
Saturated with drums, and the synth drum roll

Ryan enters with

D#----------------------------------------------------|
A#----------------------------------------------------|
F#----------------------------------------------------|
C#---------------------------------------------------:| X6
G#-10-10-10--12---------------------------------------|
D#---------------10-10-10-10--12--12-12--12-12--------|
A#----------------------------------------------------|

After Ryan's first time through Amir enters with some low octave and synth effects
that mimic the bass line but here is the lick, it starts after ryans first measure.
I suppose he's using a whammy pedal with the octave set weird

Amir enters with

D#--------------------------------------------------------|
A#--------------------------------------------------------|
F#--------------------------------------------------------|
C#---15----15----12----12------14-----14----14----14------|
G#--------------------------------------------------------|

D#--------------------------------------------------------|
A#--------------------------------------------------------|

G#--------------------------------------------------------|
C#-17----17------12----12-----14-----14----14-----14------|

this third intro riff is done by amir live but I'm not sure how he keeps both running
unless he's looping the above riff with his synth gear.

Both Ryan and Amir's intro riffs repeat for the choruses, except that
Amir's start the verses and Ryan comes in slightly later.

Outro chorus same as any others except on second play through
Ryan continues the chorus rhythem and Amir plays his riff from the
first bridge..

That about sums it up.. I'll probably get numerous complaints, but if you ever
watch them live... Like Family Values Tour '98 for instance, you will know this
is 100% correct. I took a tab from an old guitar world that showed the whole
tune in Drop-D half step down, added Ryans 7-string... then fixed the mistakes that
were there in guitar world. Feedback greatly Appreciated....
