Poco "Call it love " Written by William Crain, Ronnie Guilbeau, Richard Lonow and Jim Messina. (© Atlantic Music Corp. / Frankly Scarlett Music / Gibron Music / Songs Of Universal Inc. / Storky Music.) From "Legacy", © 1989, RCA. Intro: We've got all night Let's take our time Tell me your secrets I'll tell you mine When it makes us fell better Call it love You say you won't I say you will You make me crazy But I want you still When it makes us fell better Call it love Do we tell the truth Or do we live a lie Is the feeling good Is that makes you cry When you say those words Look me in the eye Tell me why You call it love I play my hand You call my bluft We push each other 'Till we've had enough When it's all you've got Call it love If I didn't have money Would you want me still When you look real close Do we fit the bill Call it what you want But only time will tell Solo Do we tell the truth Or do we live a lie Is the feeling good Is that makes you cry When you say those words Look me in the eye Tell me why You call it love We've got all night Let's take our time Tell me your secrets I'll tell you mine When it makes us fell better Call it love. Call it love. Call it love. When it's all you've got, call it love. Solo fade out. There it is. I'm still trying to figure out the solos and main riff (if you want to call it that). This is a great song, and album. It's interesting to note that "Legacy" was th first album that Poco's original lineup recorded together, twenty years after Poco's first album was recorded in 1969 (the original bassist, Randy Meisner, quit Poco just before they went into the studio; Meisner went on to have great success with the Eagles, while Poco struggled).
