Rufus Wainwright - Going To A Town Well, I've seen two tabs of this song on the new so far, and both may be technically than this, but this version I think you will find is more playable on guitar. Don't forget to capo the first fret. Also, during the song there many instruments that I'm not sure if some of the chords are 7ths or majors so i just play around. It was written on piano so it's a tough one for but I find this way really fun to play! Enjoy and if Rufus would release sheet music for his songs I would buy it, until then we're all stuck with best guess! **This is only my interpretation of the Rufus Wainsright song 'Going to a Town'. Thanks the previous two tabs that got me started!** ============= CAPO 1st FRET ============= Chords used: x02010 x00212 x20032 x32000 x21202 022000 320033 x57560 020100 133211 242322 x24242 022100 ===== Intro ===== ===== Verse ===== I'm going to a town that has already been burned down I'm going to a place that is already been disgraced I'm gonna see some folks who have already been let down. I'm so tired of America (Repeat for Verse 2) I'm gonna make it up for all of the Sunday Times I'm gonna make it up for all of the nursery rhymes They never really seem to want to tell the truth I'm so tired of you America ====== Chorus ====== Making my own way home Ain't gonna be alone I got a life to lead America I got a life to lead (Back to Verse) Tell me do you really think you go to hell for having loved? Tell me and not for thinking every thing that you've done is good I really need to know After soaking the body of Jesus Christ in blood I'm so tired of America I really need to know I may just never see you again or might as well You took advantage of a world that loved you well I'm going to a town that has already been burned down I'm so tired of you America (Chorus Again) Making my own way home Ain't gonna be alone I got a life to lead America I got a life to lead I got a soul to feed I got a dream to heed And that's all I need Making my own way home Ain't gonna be alone ? I'm going to a town that has al-rea-dy been burned down
