Verse:

Would you mind if I pretended we were somewhere else

doin' somethin' we wanted to

cause all this livin' makes me want do is die
cause i can't live with you

you don't even care

Would you mind if I pretended

I was someone else

with courage in love and war

I used to think that’s what I was

but now this lying hurts too much

and I don't know what for

Chorus:

I'm weak in the knees for you

but I'll stand if you want me to

my legs are strong and I'll move on

but hunny I’m weak in the knees

      x2

Verse

Would you mind if I walked over

and I kissed your face

in front of all of your friends

would you mind if i got drunk and said,

"I wanna take you home to bed"

oh would you change your mind?

Chorus:

I'm weak in the knees for you

but I'll stand if you want me to

my legs are strong and I'll move on

but hunny I’m weak in the knees

Bridge:

Oh for you....

Chorus

I'm weak in the knees for you,

but I'll stand if you want me to

ohhh my legs are strong, I'll move on

hunny I’m weak in the knees

I'm weak in the knees for you,

but I'll stand if you want me too

my legs are strong and I'll move on

but Hunny I’m weak

ohh hunny I’m weak

ohhh for you x3

First, I play this with a capo in the second fret, just to get the vocals up an octave
works well for me. As for the riffy things, all I do is add a little run down from C to
when playing the chorus. So that would be C, C add2/B, Am. I also throw in a couple of
"double fingering" techniques, such as in transitioning from the G to the C you can
off/hammer on with your index finger on the 5th string, second fret just before
to the C from G. This combined with the run down from C to Am dresses the song up nicely.
Cheers!
