If I Were Gay Tab

by Stephen Lynch

Writer: Stephen Lynch
Song: Gay

I believe this is correct. i tabbed it in like 10 minutes by ear for a
friend, so there might be some errors. for the most part i think its correct
though. funny song thats for sure! try using power chords, it sounds kinda kool!

Intro:

Verse one:

here we are dear old friend

you and i drunk again

laughs have been had and tears have been shed

maybe the whiskeys gone to my head

Chorus one:

but if i were gay i would give you my heart,

and if i were gay youd be my work of art,

and if i were gay we'd swim in romance,

but im not gay so get your hand out of my pants.

Verse two:

its not that i dont care, i do.

i just dont see myself in you.

another time another seen

id be right behind you... if you know what i mean.

Chorus two:

cause if i were gay i would give you my soul,

and if i were gay i would give you my whole being

and if i were gay we would tear down the walls,

but im not gay so wont you stop cupping my... hand.

Outro:

weve never hugged... weve never kissed...

ive never been intimate with your fist,

but you have opened brand new doors

get over here and drop your draws.
