How Deep The Fathers Love For Us Tab

by Townend Stuart

Alright, here's another one that we do that I thought you might enjoy. It's a
powerful hymn, so have some fun with it and sing your heart out.

We play with a Capo 2, but it can be done without it. So wherever you feel
comfortable, go for it. (All chords are relative to the capo)

How deep the fathers love for us

How vast beyond all mea-sure

That He should give his on--ly son

And make a wretch His trea-sure

How great the pain of sear-ing loss

The Father turns His face away

As wounds which mar the Cho-sen One

Bring many son's to glo-ry

Behold the Man upon the cross

My sin upon His shoul-der

Ashamed I hear my mock-ing voice

Call out among the sco-ffers

It was my sin that held Him there

Until it was accom-plished

His dying breath has brought me life

I know that it is fin-ished

I will not boast in an—-y----thing

No gifts no power no wis--dom

But I will boast in Je---sus Christ

His death and resurrec-tion

Why should I from His re---ward

I cannot give an an---swer

But this I know with all my heart

His wounds have paid my ran-som

Repeat the last four lines twice slowing down as you go.
Thanks and enjoy!
